Final evening: one night in vegas

What better way to celebrate your Beyond Biking trip than with a night out in Las Vegas? Sample the world-famous nightlife on the Vegas strip where neon signs and glittery lights luminate the Nevada desert sky. There is so much to do that one night isn’t enough and we’ll leaving the schedule entirely up to you – so plan your evening wisely.

Eat & drink. Of course, Vegas goes big on glamour so if celebrity chefs, global fusion and Michelin-starred dining is your thing, you’re in the right place. Equally, if you yearn for super-sized American classics (you’ve certainly earned the calories), southern-style BBQ or Mexican classics, you’ll find whatever you desire in Las Vegas.

Casinos & hotel entertainment. Las Vegas is probably best known for being the gambling capital of the world, and yes, there are casinos at every turn. But there’s plenty more to keep you amused, from Broadway shows to the musical fountains of Bellagio where you can watch a ridiculously entertaining water display choreographed to show tunes, opera and classical music. Want to see the world without leaving the city? Some of the more preposterous resorts pay wonderfully tacky homage to world cities, such as the Paris Las Vegas to the glass Egyptian pyramid at the Luxor Hotel.

Bars, clubs & live music: whether you are looking for an upscale cigar lounge or great cocktails and all-night dancing, Vegas has it all…then some. The Hakkasan at MGM Grand is one of the hottest clubs around with an endless rota of A-list DJs playing to packed floors every night. Live music lovers are also in for a treat. You can hear everything from one-(wo)man shows featuring some of the world’s biggest stars to down-home country music. The Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan hosts amazing poolside gigs from early spring through to late autumn with a view overlooking the Strip. Meanwhile, on the other end of the glamour scale, the Adrenaline Sports Bar & Grill (formerly known as the Cheyenne Saloon) may be a bit further from the bright lights of the Strip, but it’s the place to go if you want to rock out.
