Travel insurance

It is a condition of booking that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks. This must cover the activities undertaken and include repatriation costs, air ambulance and helicopter rescue services. Even if you already have medical insurance, we suggest you take out additional insurance specific to adventure holidays since some expenses may not be included or fully covered by your pre-existing policy. In the event of an emergency medical rescue and/or repatriation from a trip, the responsibility for such costs is borne by the client. It is therefore essential that adequate cover is in place. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is adequate and you must complete a declaration in our booking form to confirm this. We strongly recommend that you take out an insurance policy at the same time as making your booking.

Beyond Biking recommends Allianz Adventure & Survival Assistance (for EU residents), Campbell Irvine (for UK residents), Travelex (for US residents) and IMG Globe Hoppers (worldwide). These companies offer the ultimate in travel protection and emergency travel assistance, and their policies are especially designed for adventure holidays. You will need to arrange your own insurance directly.

All luggage and personal equipment are, at all times, at your own risk. We will not take any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to your luggage and/or personal equipment. We therefore recommend that your insurance policy includes cover for baggage and personal items.

We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance, as some deposits are non-refundable.
