WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?

Flights. Travel or flight costs and charges for travelling with your bike (if applicable) are additional. Please check with your airline carrier for bike carriage charges on your flight(s). Flights should not be booked until you have received your Beyond Biking booking confirmation. You will need to make your own way to our meeting in Grand Junction, Colorado. Fly into Grand Junction, arriving on a Friday and fly back from Las Vegas ten days later on a Sunday. Although this is the standaard program, we can fix the start and end day of the tour to work around your flights. From Europe, there are good connecting flights to Grand Junction with one or two stopovers. Departing from Las Vegas is easier. From most European cities, you will need a maximum of one stopover.

Airport transfers. We will meet in Grand Junction for our bike journey. We don’t typically include airport transfers, as there are too many variables (including the number of people bringing their own bikes). However, we can arrange all airport transfers for the group at an additional fee, once you have full flight information.

Bike hire. All rental bikes are high-quality Santa Cruz full-suspension bikes. Each bike comes equipped with a helmet and water bottle. The price is $350 for the entire trip. Prices do not include spare parts like spare tubes, replacement derailleur hangers or others.

Drinks. We do not provide any drinks, alcoholic or otherwise, during the day or with evening meals.

Final evening dinner. So that you have the freedom to choose the way you want to celebrate the end of your Beyond Biking tour, we do not organise a final evening meal. However, we are happy to advise and make a booking for you.

Single room. For an additional cost, single room options may be available, if requested.

Travel Insurance. It is a condition of joining any of our trips that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks (to include repatriation costs, air ambulance and helicopter rescue services). You will need to advise us of your policy details and complete an insurance declaration form. Beyond Biking recommends Allianz Adventure & Survival Assistance (for EU residents), Campbell Irvine (for UK residents), Travelex (for US residents) and IMG Globe Hoppers (worldwide). These companies offer the ultimate in travel protection and emergency travel assistance, and their policies are especially designed for adventure holidays. You will need to arrange your own insurance directly. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance, as some deposits are non-refundable.

Others. Bar bills, telephone calls, souvenirs, entrance fees to cultural or historical sites, spa treatments, personal clothing and equipment and all tips are not included.
